I’m sure many heard about the shooting that happened on Black Friday in a local Toys R Us in Palm Desert, California. Apparently a fight broke out between two Hispanic girls, the men that were with them both took out guns and shot each-other to death.  Police said the fight was personal, not about toys like many speculated. It’s disgusting to know that people are going into these types of stores filled with children with loaded guns. We now have to watch our back everywhere we go! I believe the police may be hiding some information at this time due to investigation. It was reported in a press conference that only those two men and women were involved, but many witnesses said they saw a green Nissan or Kia speeding away from the scene. So were this alleged people running scare?Or were they involved also?? Others are saying there were actually seven armed men. We’ll know sooner or later I guess.

I live very close to where this happened and we were told to stay inside our house, while a helicopter patrolled the area. I was actually very worried since I had a family member shopping there at the time. I go there every month with my child, and that was the last place I  thought this could happen. In reality we just don’t know if the person sitting next to us in a movie theater, or standing next to us at the checkout line has a gun. We just have to be careful now a days. I’ve lived in this area for many years, and nothing like this has ever happened  in a retail store, and hope it doesn’t again. These type of crimes have been increasing lately. I’ve heard of a couple of people that have been shot after cutting someone off the road, or tailgating. Road Rage!! Come on people!!! It seems like were living in Los Angeles!! These past two years population has increased here like crazy, the city is making streets wider to try and put some relief on traffic. The bottom line is that since population grew so did the crime rate.
