Team Doucle Click is a virtual staffing agency that matches virtual assistants and teleworkers with small and home-based businesses. Team Double Click was started in the year 2000 and it’s known nationwide. This company has gained recognition in many media outlets such as : FOX News, ABC’s TODAY Show, Woman’s Day Magazine, CNN, NBC News, and US News and World Report.
They only hire in the United States and Canada. There is absolutely NO FEES to work for them. They make money when you make money, easy as that. You will have to apply and pass some tests. The whole process takes 4-6 weeks. After that you’ll be signed up with Team Double Click. They have many virtual assistant opportunities. When a job comes in, they will review all information given by all assistants, and contact who they think fits in with the job. You would work as an independent contractor. There’s no limit the amount of work you can do as a contractor. They get jobs all over the world. They currently have over 50,000 virtual assistants.
The pay varies depending on the project and the client’s the work is for. Some projects are paid by the hour, others by the job. You always have the choice to turn down a project if your not available or are just not satisfied with the pay, or the job itself. But once you accept a job your expected to complete it. Team Double Click does all the negotiating. They pay through PayPal or by wire transfer. Keep in mind that for the wire transfer payment option they do charge a $20 service fee. ($30 For International contractors).
Also their contract states that during the term of your contract with Team Double Click, or if your contract is terminated for any reason, you cannot solicit any of their clients to work for them directly. If you do you will be charged a 15% commission from all revenue billed to their client for one year, or $5,000 whichever is greater.
To be considered for Team Double Click you must have previous experience as an administrative assistant or virtual assistant. You must be willing to take incoming calls as well as some outbound calls. Many clients require that. You must also be available to work Monday - Friday, just like a 9-5 job. They do not have any positions that are strictly data entry or typing. When you first start working for them, they will place you in small business projects so they can see if your cut out for the job before giving you larger clients. They might start you on projects that last 2-4 hours per week..
